won the 1934 Mac Robertson air race from |
| England to Australia. The plane was piloted
by C.W.A. Scott and Tom Campbell Black. |
| During the race the Comet reached air speeds
of 237 mph and cruised at 230 mph. |
| With a range of 2,925 miles and flown at a
ceiling of 19,000 feet, the 11,000 mile race |
| took 71 hours to complete. Our version of the
Comet has been painstakingly reproduced |
| with special attention to detail. Each Comet
is custom crafted and is identified by a |
| numbered letter of authenticity. |
