D.H. 88 COMET "GROSVENOR HOUSE"

The D.H. Comet " Grosvenor House" won the 1934 Mac Robertson air race from
England to Australia. The plane was piloted by C.W.A. Scott and Tom Campbell Black.
During the race the Comet reached air speeds of 237 mph and cruised at 230 mph.
With a range of 2,925 miles and flown at a ceiling of 19,000 feet, the 11,000 mile race
took 71 hours to complete. Our version of the Comet has been painstakingly reproduced
with special attention to detail. Each Comet is custom crafted and is identified by a
numbered letter of authenticity.
